COVID-19 Update

Atlanta Metropolitan State College Statement
AMSC is carefully monitoring coronavirus (COVID-19) updates and will utilize this webpage to keep its students, faculty, and staff informed of the latest developments and future steps AMSC will take. Moreover, AMSC has put in place the necessary proactive steps to ensure that faculty, staff, and students are prepared for future measures associated with COVID-19. The health and safety of AMSC's faculty, staff, and students are of the highest priority.

Individuals who experience symptoms of illness, particularly those running a fever, coughing, and shortness of breath (or difficulty breathing) should contact their medical care provider, and should not return to campus until released to do so by their healthcare provider. Students should notify their professor(s) if they are unable to attend classes, and faculty/staff should contact their supervisor if they are unable to report to work due to COVID-19 exposure or related activities.

AMSC will continue to monitor and closely follow COVID-19 developments. AMSC will follow COVID-19 guidelines as provided by the Georgia Department of Health (GDH), the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the University System of Georgia. This page will be updated when there is impact or changes to AMSC's programs, services, and activities associated with the coronavirus.
